Gamer Deer is operated by AD Creative Lab ("Gamer Deer", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit Gamer Deer, create an account, use your wishlist, subscribe to updates, or contact us.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to give us and limited technical information needed to run the service.
- Account information: your display name, email address, password (stored in protected form), notification preferences, and account security information.
- Herd preferences: games in your wishlist, pinned items, opportunity alerts, and settings you save.
- Messages and subscriptions: the name, email address, message, and optional details you send through a contact, advertising, or newsletter form.
- Technical and security information: information such as IP address for form-spam prevention, authentication tokens, and information required to maintain and secure your session.
How we use information
We use your information to provide and improve Gamer Deer, including to create and secure your account, show and manage your wishlist and preferences, send updates you have chosen to receive, respond to messages, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you to provide account features, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Gamer Deer, your consent where required, and legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers that help us host, secure, operate, or communicate through Gamer Deer, but only as needed for those services or where the law requires disclosure.
Gamer Deer may link to game stores, publishers, social platforms, and other third-party sites. When you follow one of those links, that third party handles information under its own privacy policy. We do not control those sites.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential browser storage and authentication technologies to keep you signed in, remember your session, and protect the service. For example, the site stores an account access token in your browser so account features can work. You can clear browser storage or sign out at any time, although doing so may disable account features until you sign in again.
If we add non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide the required notice and choices before using them where applicable.
Your choices and rights
You can update your profile and notification preferences from Settings. You can also delete your account there; this revokes access to your account and signed-in sessions.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us and tell us which right you want to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including maintaining your account, resolving requests, protecting Gamer Deer, and meeting legal or record-keeping obligations. Deleted account data and form submissions may be retained in limited form where necessary for those purposes.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique, strong password and keep your account credentials private.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Gamer Deer evolves. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, provide additional notice.
For privacy questions or requests, please contact Gamer Deer.
